Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

This week we celebrated the 107th birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel (a.k.a. Dr. Seuss), who encouraged children of all ages to read by creating more than 100 characters and stories. Since 1998, his birthday, March 2, has been adopted as National Read Across America Day.

So on Tuesday…

And on Friday…

Mister Pat went to Miss Hanvey’s second class on sign language. Today we learned signs for diverse subjects such as circus animals, fair animals, clothing, and the like. As do the rest of the teachers and therapists at Frankie Lemmon, Miss Hanvey does a wonderful job — day in and day out.

This week my friends must have thought it was my birthday, too…they gave me the gift of my name in sign language (like “P”s opening a book.) THANK YOU, FRIENDS!

"Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You."
